HS codes decide duty rates and establish if and what certificates and licenses need to be obtained to compliantly transport your product. We will assess your SKU's to ensure they have a valid HS code.

1/ EU CPNP & UK SCPN NOTIFICATIONS

As per the European Cosmetic Regulations, all cosmetic products made available to consumers in the EU and Northern Ireland must be registered on the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP).

Similarly, in GB, every cosmetic product available to consumers must be notified to the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) on the Submit Cosmetic Product Notifications (SCPN) Portal.

This process enables medical professionals to quickly and easily identify the components of a particular product in case of an emergency.

3/ FSAI NOTIFICATION

A manufacturer or supplier must notify the FSAI of their intent to place the following types of food on the market in Ireland:

  • Food supplements

  • Foods for special medical purposes

  • Infant formula or follow-on formula

Our team will complete the notification via your existing FSAI account. If there is no existing account we will complete your companies registration process on your behalf
